The jacket I wish I bought years and years ago

To look at hanging over the back of a chair, it doesn’t look like much.

But this jacket evokes instant military chic, and when I wear it I feel like the warrior of the playground (as compared to ‘the worrier’, which I also transform into when the boys climb higher than my liking on those ropey, spider-webby things, or take too speedily to the flying fox).

And best of all, this jacket’s got a number of huge, deep pockets, so I can easily carry around the necessary kit we need (tissues, cash, band-aid, sunnies, mobile phone, snacks) for an action-packed outing of playground ~~full body combat~~ fun. With no need for a bag, there’s one less thing to keep an eye on in the playground: “Where’d I put my bag?” and “Who’s two-year-old is that rifling through it?!”
