Recently I had the pleasure of whiling away a few hours at the gorgeous harbourside home of Australian fashion designer, Peter Morrissey.
He’s dressed some of the most famous women (and men) in the world – Elle, Kylie, Michael Hutchence to name a few – and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Madonna and Diana.
Yet nowadays this Australian fashion icon is focused on putting smiles on the faces of those of us who aren’t ‘first name only’ kinda people, through his Peter Morrissey fashion ranges for Big W. And he’s loving it.
I honestly do love to dress Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman, but I can’t tell you how great it is to see a mother of four who can’t get her hair and makeup done tell me she feels like a princess in my $29 dress.”
In the first of our four-part interview, Peter answers my nosy questions about a bunch of celebs that he’s buddies with, and also shares a story about the time he literally ran into Madonna.
