What do you like most about your body?

When you saw this question, could you answer straight away?

Or did it make you squirm a little?

It’s probably easy for each of us to identify which parts of our bodies we dislike - our survey showed that our tummies are the part most of us are least keen on.

Yet last week when we showed a bunch of photos of un-Photoshopped mummy tummies of all different shapes and sizes, we received numerous emails, Tweets and Facebook messages like this one from Cat:

“I love this idea of self acceptance and it has inspired me to just stop obsessing!”

To celebrate our own unique personal beauty, why not share what we like most about our bodies?

I’ll go first. Deep breath: I like my skin. It’s smooth, even, and heals well (my caesarean scars are nearly invisible!). I also like my legs. Even though they are so skinny that they were called ‘chicken legs’ by my brother when I was little *pokes out tongue*.

See, not so hard. And that felt good (especially the poking out the tongue bit!)

Your turn. What do you like most about your body?

PS: If you need more help celebrating, ENTER to WIN a case of Sparkling Pinot Noir valued at $300. Cheers to that!

I’m in!  I love my smile…. it’s always been a big (literally) focal point but now more than ever I love it and appreciate it as it’s over-rides certain body insecurities.   People tend to notice it straight away and I always get comments on it- I love it!

“A smile is THE BEST accessory” x

I’m the palm, wrist, nails chick from ur Facebook reply. I forgot the best part. Dimples! People adore them, why mustn’t I. And yes the smile is a killer too :)

I like my English rose complexion, my curvaceous bottom and my boobs. Never had any until I was in my 20s, increased after breastfeeding, so they’re still a novelty to me!

I’ve also turned my thinking around. Instead of bemoaning my lack of waist, I’m celebrating narrow hips. Instead of whinging about having thighs for the first time in my life, I’m appreciating the hourglass effect they give me.

Gotta love and appreciate yourself, or you won’t believe others do. x

I love my feet. As I get older they are getting a bit more battered, but I love the reasons (running, hiking) and they are still very elegant.

Oh lucky you! Would LOVE to have elegant feet!

I like my arms and shoulders.  They are defined, tanned and capable of picking up heavy things and giving gentle cuddles.

I love this post! I love my shoulders, my skin and recently I’m starting to love my back. I bought an open back dress the other day and I love how unexpectedly sexy it makes me look and feel.

Thanks gorgeous! Backs ARE super-sexy huh. And underrated. x

I don’t love it but it is loved by others and so I am learning to like it – my bubble butt.

      So cute!

I love my decolletage, or as my lovely partner calls it “the fantastic cleave”. That and my shapely pins (with slim ankles great for straps!) are my fave bits.

‘Cleave’ now THAT is fantastic word! x

I love my naturallybrown skin, the tight-twisty curl of my locs, and my generously full lips !

      Beautiful! x

I used to love my lips because they were really full, then a scar on the edge has made it look like I always have lipstick bleed. So, err, um, I guess my hands? When I take care of my nails, my hands look great and since I always wear sunscreen on them they’re not too old looking.
Thanks for joining in the linky, hope Valentine’s Day treated you well x

I like my legs they have a lovely shape. I love having skin that has a glow and tans easily. I like my hair and that I don’t have to blowdry it to get it in shape. My teeth are nice too – straight. Popping over from Glowless Linky! Happy Valentines to you!

Here, we're sharing tips, ideas and inspiration to make it much, much easier to navigate motherhood in style.
