Fashionistas have just given the Smoking Slipper their seal of approval, which makes them officially ok to wear around the kids.

Elle UK agrees about the appeal of the smoking slipper, recently announcing:

It seems the trend for menswear-inspired shoes – like the brogues and loafers that have been on-trend for the last couple of seasons – is still going strong.
Banks-Coloma claims that smoking slippers are “great in any fabric” and we agree.
We also think they’re great because, unlike some ballet flats, they’ll never show a glimpse of toe cleavage.
