Victoria Beckham ordered to wear flat shoes, not happy

The woman who once claimed to shun the gym because “she couldn’t run in heels,” who professed she was “beyond hating” ballet pumps, and insisted she “couldn’t concentrate” unless clad in six-inch stilettos, is now under doctor’s orders to wear flats.

There’s been some speculation that she injured herself by wearing high heels during her recent pregnancy. If that’s the case I’m feeling her pain.

I wore heels up until I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my first child. One morning, I literally couldn’t get out of bed to go to work after climbing the Sydney Opera House stairs to a farewell luncheon… duh!

Did you wear heels while pregnant, or did you stick to flats?

I’m about 9000 feet tall so I avoid heels unless it’s a special occasion, which makes me SAD! I love heels, but hate drawing any more attention to myself than is necessary. I wore heels with Veggie Baby, probably because I was so lucky my feet never swelled. Poor Vicky B, I would hate to have to change something that made me feel so good about myself :)

Ok, well I’ve seen you and you are stunning so flats or heels your gonna attract alot of attention. But if they make you feel good, why not? Unless of course you are married to Tom Cruise and under contract… ;) xxxx

haha luckily my husband is just  a smidge taller than me.  Hell, most people are looking at my giant boobs anyway, I may as well just rock a pair of heels and be done with it! Thanks for your kind words xo

Tall, big boobies, gorgeous face and clever. You’re a quadruple threat! Work it babe.
As Nelson Mandela said “We ask ourselves, “who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?” Actually, who are you NOT to be?” ;)

Honestly, I’m an ex-dancer (Latin, so lived in 4 inch heels while dancing for 10+ yrs), and I’m as vain as the next person, but really…..health has got to be more important, surely?

And…don’t healthy, happy, lively mama’s look so much more attractive, than stressed out, in pain, grumpy bear mamas?

I do agree with the comment above though – I do feel for someone who has to give up anything that helps them feel good about themselves – but maybe some focus on feeling good about looking after yourself, and setting a great example to your kids about priorities……
