At our beach,

at our magic beach,

the seagulls were making a racket,

squawking and swooping and scavenging ’round

then I saw this tangerine jacket.

At our beach,

the ocean waves calm all our cares,

ebbing and flowing and frothing on rocks,

and this foxy mum styling in flares.

the crabs make us giggle and laugh,

scampering over the rockpools we go,

and style is wrapped up in a scarf.

Inspired by one of our favourite books for kids, ‘Magic Beach’ by Alison Lester, my wicked son Z, and the stylish women at Sydney’s Bronte Beach.

very cool and very creative post. We certainly have a Magic Beach here in the states in New Jersey as well. Our favorite beach is Island Beach State Park. We always go there by boat. We cross the bay, anchor up and walk over to the ocean side. it’s one of the few beaches where you’re allowed to bring your dog and I always love watching them play in the surf.

  Ha ha Bianca, Sometimes I feel like a stalker I must admit…does it across like that? I hope not… I’m always careful to just focus on the clothes and the context, and keep peoples faces at least partially obscured (and never showing the kids!!!)
