Posh pregnancy beauty tip.

Victoria Beckham and I go way back. Back to the Wannabe Spice Girl days before kids, when we worked on our trademark posing dance moves in front of the mirror together*.

So I was thrilled when she messaged me this week**:

Pregnancy tip!!!! I have used this through every pregnancy, it’s amazing!! X VB

This Japanese Camellia Oil by Elemis, pictured here in the en suite she shares with David, has been her secret for preventing stretch marks and improving skin elasticity throughout all four of her pregnancies.

And we can buy it here from Amazon.com for the not-so-posh price of $32.80.

I’m willing to give that a try if it makes me look even vaguely as immaculate as VB has been throughout this pregnancy.

To that end, she also sent me these recent pics from her family album***:

Do you have any pregnancy beauty tips that I can send back to Vikki ****?

* Actually, I’ve never met her. But I have, in my past, been known to practice dance poses in front of a mirror.

** It was sent to me and 1,191,697 others via Twitter.

*** Photos not from the Beckham family album. I copied them from the internet and could quite possibly get in trouble for doing so as I have not credited them. Kids going nuts around bedtime, need to be fast…

**** She may think I’m stalking her, so will probably just leave the tips for Fox in Flats readers to enjoy and share.

I used it through my first pregnancy and didn’t get a single stretchmark! Unfortunately I was a bit slack with my second pregnancy and didn’t start using anything till very late so I have a few on my tummy, but with the help of Trilogys Rosehip Oil, they’re almost invisible (I also use it on my babys skin, particularly face, neck and behind the ears and on my own face)… I’ve got other friends who swear by Palmers Cocoa Formula and others like Bio Oil (both im pretty sure you can get from the supermarket) and yet others like the New Bloom preg body cream/oil from Perfect Potion which is Devine (as is their Full Bloom birthing oil).

Hi I'm Andrea, and Fox In Flats is my baby.

I'm also the mother of two little boys, who I credit for the motherhood induced fashion rut that I fell into sometime between the labour ward and now…

Here, we're sharing tips, ideas and inspiration to make it much, much easier to navigate motherhood in style.

Enjoy!
