I reckon I’ve found the perfect top to cover my jelly bits.
And it’s more effective than the jelly coverage provided by this umbrella at Yum Cha over the weekend.

Ooooh jelly. So much nicer IN my belly than AS my belly.
On screen, it doesn’t look like much.
But put this baby on, and you’ll know why I’m petitioning Witchery to change the name of this top to The Perfect Mummy Top.
Why so perfect?
- If you are pregnant, a top like this in a larger size and a stretch fabric will take you through the whole 9 months.
- Breastfeeding? This style of top is easy to pull up to nurse and great teamed with a nursing singlet in the same colour.
- In camouflage-mode over your ‘mummy tummy‘, like me and 53% of mothers? It’ll accentuate your collarbone, and skim lightly over your jelly belly.
It’s a oversized cut that falls to the top of your thighs at the front, and far enough past your bottom to provide good coverage. Yet it is balanced by a soft V neckline, and fitted 3/4 length sleeves. It’s mostly viscose so feels soft, with 4%Elastane for stretch. And did I mention you don’t need to iron it?
On, it looks kinda like this:

Audrina Patridge at an airport, sans jelly belly
And it’s amazingly versatile.
I wore it last week during the day to Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, and this week at night to the Top 50 Bloggers Cocktail party. I’m obsessed by its divine mix of style and comfort, how easy it is to dress up or down, and how seamlessly it has integrated into my wardrobe.
Click here to buy it online, but be fast as these are selling quickly.
FYI this isn’t a sponsored post, and I paid full price for the top.
Just want to share such a great buy with my fellow foxes.
Kinda like shopping karma.
Have you ever found a ‘Perfect Mummy Top’? Then c’mon, share…
